Which students does KeenYouth serve?

The North America research mentorship is designed primarily for students in Grades 6–12. Readiness and project scope vary by grade, background and available time.

What research fields are available?

Directions may include engineering, physics, chemistry, biology and wet-lab work, robotics, AI, environmental science, water resources, soil ecology and agriculture, subject to safety and facility constraints.

Who completes the research work?

The student must understand and own the project. Mentors guide feasibility, methods, ethics, analysis and communication without replacing student decisions or authorship.

Does KeenYouth guarantee a competition award?

No responsible mentorship program can guarantee an award. Outcomes depend on the student’s work, research quality, competition eligibility and independent judging.

How are competition pathways selected?

Grade, location, fair affiliation, deadlines and project type are reviewed before a pathway is recommended. Current official rules always take priority.
